Riverstone Capital provides investors with a flexible investment approach through managed accounts. These accounts are tailor made investment strategies defined by the risk profile and constraints of each client. This approach allows for heightened levels of transparency, a clear asset allocation, and client control of the assets. Each transaction would be structured as a Special Purpose Vehicles through which we acquire the asset(s) or portfolios or by investing in pools of funds.

Riverstone Capital also manages a series of closed-end and commingled opportunity funds. The assets acquired by the funds are typically executed with small and mid-sized operating partners with a demonstrable track record and the financial strength to provide significant co-investment capital.

Riverstone Capital creates value through the purchase of quality assets at significant discounts. The value is generated by acquiring a portfolio of distressed assets.  Oftentimes we can improve returns by supplying leverage to the portfolio at the investor’s option.

Riverstone creates value by focusing first and foremost on acquiring quality assets at substantial discounts to replacement cost. We then apply the expertise of our own team of asset management professionals to execute well-defined strategies such as operational improvements; property upgrades or strengthened marketing efforts.
